Our wellness initiative focuses on simple, effective, holistic practices that promote physical and mental well-being including mindfulness/meditation, qigong /tai chi and breathwork.

In today’s society we face ongoing stressors that left unmanaged, can result in both chronic mental illnesses (e.g. depression, anxiety) and chronic physical illnesses (e.g.hypertension, heart disease, stroke). It is the relationship between the body, mind and breathing in qigong/tai chi that helps the body relax.  

The slow, controlled, flowing movements in Qigong provides a way for the muscles and joints to release tension while the slow breathing calms the stress (adrenal) glands to move the body and mind to a place of relaxation. Qigong and tai chi are often referred to as “moving meditation” and mind-body exercise as focus and concentration are improved and we attain physical and mental harmony.
