Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) workshop

This certification class teaches participants to identify, understand, and respond to adults facing mental health or substance-related challenges. It covers recognizing signs of distress, such as anxiety, depression, or substance abuse, and addresses mental health stigma, effective communication, and empathy. Participants learn to create supportive environments, manage crises, and offer practical de-escalation strategies.
